About Sarasota Center for Acupuncture and Nutrition

Founded in 2000 by Dr. Christina A. Captain as the Family Healing Center, the Sarasota Center for Acupuncture and Nutrition is an alternative healthcare practice that combines traditional Western medicine and beliefs with Eastern and other holistic strategies. This integration of East meets West allows us to provide our patients with specialized treatment for a wide range of health problems, from obesity to cancer.

Our mission at Sarasota Center for Acupuncture and Nutrition is to treat our patients in an environment where we provide the most effective healing techniques with compassion, integrity, and sensitivity to each patient’s unique needs and health goals. We also strive to foster patient enrichment, involvement, and responsibility in achieving their vision of health.
