Supplement of the Month- Xymogen Activnutrients

unnamed

A good multivitamin is the foundation of healthy aging and disease prevention however in searching for the one that is right for us we must remember that not all multivitamins are equal. Sometimes taking a multivitamin of poor quality can hurt more than help. For example look at the label for Centrum Adult multi vitamin; in addition to synthetic food coloring like yellow 6 lake and titanium dioxide they add polyethylene glycol and polyvinyl alcohol. Neither of these chemicals are beneficial to the human body and are not necessary for the vitamin to be complete. When choosing a multivitamin there are few tips to keep in mind:

1. Read the label. Investigate any ingredient that you don't understand.

2. Read the label. If it includes food colorings and sunscreen chemicals.... just say NO!

3. Check to see if the B vitamins are in their natural form or synthetic.
For example; B-12 should be methyl cobalamin not cyanocobalamin, B6 should be pyridoxal-5-phosphate not pyridoxine HCI.

4. Buy from a reputable company (brand) that does constituent testing and third party assays to prove that the ingredients are pure and that what is on the label is in the bottle.

ActivNutrients meets and exceeds all of these tips. So what are you waiting for?
